Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach Group Toufik Hakkar affirmed Saturday, in Algiers, that the Group is willing to strengthen the privileged relations with the Libyan partner to establish a winning partnership and develop the gas and oil industry in the two countries, underlining the potentials of the group and its subsidiaries in the field of oil services.

Taking part in the Algerian-Libyan Economic Forum, Hakkar emphasized “the group’s total willingness to strengthen the privileged relations with the Libyan partner to lay the foundations of a winning economic partnership between the two sides and develop the oil and gas industry in the two countries,” said Sonatrach on its facebook page.

After presenting a specification sheet on the group and the potentials of its subsidiaries in oil services, Sonatrach CEO underlined “the group’s big experience in various upstream and downstream oil activities, of which the brotherly Libyan State can take advantage,” added the source.

Kicked off on Saturday with the participation of about 400 economic operators from the two countries, the Algerian-Libyan Economic Forum aims to strengthen the economic and commercial cooperation and find bilateral partnership opportunities in different economic sectors between the two countries.
