ALGIERS- Deputy Minister for Micro-enterprises Nassim Diafat received Tuesday Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Algeria Blerta Aliko with whom he examined ways and means of cooperation in the sector of micro-enterprises, by agreeing to start a working session in order to establish a joint action program.

The two sides “agreed to launch working session between the representatives of services of deputy minister for micro-enterprises and those of UNDP, in order to establish a joint action program for the interest of our country’s micro-enterprises,” according to a ministerial statement.

The meeting, said the source, was an opportunity for Diafat to broach “the new adopted approach” concerning the young entrepreneurs and managers of micro-enterprises, which aims to accompany them in their economic activities and overcome all the difficulties facing them.

Diafat also underlined that his ministerial department is working to accompany these companies to open up to an international business ecosystem through the creation of action programs with the different international partners, including the UN bodies and programs.

For her part, Blerta Aliko affirmed her commitment to give concrete expression to this partnership in order to accompany the sector of micro-enterprises and meet its needs in terms of training and exchange of experiences in various fields, concluded the source.
