Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Ramtane Lamamra on Wednesday held phone talks with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on the latest developments in the region, particularly the situation in Libya. They also focused on the ways likely to strengthen neighoubring countries’ support to the brotherly Libyan people in their efforts to reach a political settlement of the Libya crisis.
“Following the fruitful consultations we had during my last visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, a sister country, I held phone talks with my counterpart and brother Sameh Shoukry on the latest developments in the region, including the situation in Libya and ways to strengthen neighboring countries’ support to the Libyan brothers in their efforts to achieve the expected political solution,” tweeted Lamamra on Wednesday.
